Artistic Production Practice

Saraçoğlu’s artistic practice is shaped around the concepts of becoming, memory, and inner experience. In his productions, process occupies a position as decisive as the outcome; the tension between control and chance is approached as a formal and conceptual field of inquiry. While technically benefiting from media technologies, he incorporates everyday objects such as ceramics and carpets into his mode of expression. This multilayered approach enables the construction of a fluid language that moves across different materials and mediums. On a conceptual level, the artist aims to establish a space that expands from individual experiences toward collective memory. Concepts such as time, fragility, transformation, and repetition become visible through the relationships between surface, form, and space in his works. The traces, deformations, and interventions that emerge during the production process are considered integral parts of the artwork. Among Saraçoğlu’s sources of inspiration are the subconscious, everyday life practices, cyclical structures in nature, the rebirth of traditional art through contemporary technologies, and the memory of objects. Rather than imposing a singular meaning, his works seek to offer the viewer a multilayered and open-ended field of interpretation.
