YANSIMA / REFLECTION

“Maviden Beyaza” geleneksel dekor tekniği, seramik yüzeyler üzerinde bir yansıma olarak varlık bulurken, bu yansıma geçmiş ile şimdi arasındaki sürekliliği görünür kılar. Kültürel üretimin zamansallığı içinde, mavi-beyaz serüveni sadece estetik bir aktarım değil, aynı zamanda kolektif hafızanın mekânda ve maddede somutlaşmasıdır. Bu bağlamda yüzey, tarihsel olanın şimdiki zamanla birleştiği bir ara katman işlevi görerek, geçmişi yalnızca hatırlamakla kalmaz, onu şimdiye taşır ve yeniden anlamlandırır. Böylece sanat nesnesi, zamansal akışkanlık içinde, geleneğin bugüne dönüşerek var olabileceğini gösteren bir arayüz hâline gelir.

The traditional decoration technique “From Blue to White” manifests as a reflection on ceramic surfaces, making the continuity between past and present visible. Within the temporality of cultural production, the blue-and-white journey is not merely an aesthetic transfer but also a materialization of collective memory in space and matter. In this context, the surface functions as an intermediary layer where the historical and the contemporary converge, not only recalling the past but also carrying it into the present and reinterpreting it. Thus, the art object becomes an interface within the fluidity of time, demonstrating how tradition can transform and persist in the present.
